2I am so stunned....I didn't want to get my hopes up. I can't believe it!! I have that feeling you get when you are on the freeway, and you just narrowly avoided an accident. That near death feeling! Crazy, but true! I am SO HAPPY Palin is far away from the White House! I am so happy that her tactics of lies and smears and snarky comments has been shown the door!!!!
3This is just... GREAT! What a great election this has been! President-Elect Obama.

7I am extremely happy! It made me so proud to see the next First Family...Michelle will be a great First Lady.
8I agree! I love them all...the Obamas and the Bidens. They have made us proud and will continue to. They will restore our standing in the world. We will lead with renewed strength and we will prosper!
Viva!
9i'm super excited to have a president, vice president, and first lady that i am actually proud of. i'm excited that each and every single one of them will work their hardest and do their best.
i'm excited that when i meet people from other countries i don't have to be ashamed to say that i am an american, or of my president, i can say that i voted, and that my vote counted for something. that i made a difference. that the world might really become a better place and that i played a part in that. that tonight i won't be able to properly sleep because up and down the street there are people screaming, kids rioting, horns honking, all in celebration for something that none of us dared to dream was possible. but we had the audacity to hope. and it paid off, in a big way. :].
here's to an amazing four years!
10Goodness....I'm back. My entire body hurts. I cried buckets. I promise you I'll blog about it tomorrow. Chicago is on fire with energy. It's one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. I'll tell you more tomorrow. Right now I'm having a little champagne and going to bed. We did it guys!!! I'm so happy. Hugs all around!
11I didn't go to bed until 2am but I am wide awake today because this is a historical moment and I am so happy that my faith in this country is restored.
12I am so happy!!!!!
I was holding my breath last night because they were calling the states so early....I was so afraid they would change the results.
We were all jumping around the room when they announced the final decision on CNN. I took a picture of the television screen. I am so happy and hopeful. Because of this election I have become more interested in politics than I ever was before, and hope to become more active in my local government as well.
13Yay, Harmony! Can't wait to hear all about it.
I was watching every second of it on
TV...not only am I proud of Obama, but I can't help but feel pride for Chicago too.
14Yes we did.
